@TaylorTwellman Nope. Not a foul. Anderson had been pushing him on every corner and decided this time it was time to dive since the ref just talked to them. Sad thing is ref was intently watching them and felt it wasn’t a foul live.

This is a foul. But so is the bear hug and that needs to be called more consistently.

I’m staggered the amount of people who genuinely don’t think Elliot Anderson was fouled by Haaland for Norways disallowed goal. You just can’t go round the pitch pushing people over with 2 hands. He didn’t dive, Haaland is 6ft 5, massive, Elliot off balance, it’s a foul.

A little cold water for those casual US soccer fans who see in two matches against Paraguay and Australia a USMNT approaching being competitive with the the top flight of international soccer. Go back and watch the U.S. loss to the Netherlands from 2022. 3-1 in the first knock-out round. Many of the same US players, albeit 4 years younger and with less experience. Netherlands dominated the match start to finish. Not Spain, or France, or Germany, or Brazil -- Netherlands. There is a sizable gap between what the US does to produce youth players from 12-18 and what the Top 8-12 countries in the world do.

I am genuinely tired of being told to ignore what my own eyes are seeing. Watch both footages and tell me in the face which deserved a RED CARD the most!! Just days ago in the Argentina vs Algeria game, Messi caught an Algerian player from behind so badly with a brutal tackle. No foul, no booking and not even a second glance from the referee as he waved play to continue. Then fast forward to today, a very similar scenario, except there was very small to almost no contact between the Qatar player and the Canada player who got fouled as he made for goal just before the box as shown in the second footage attached Here the referee instantly stops play and shows the Qatar player a yellow card right away which after a VAR review is even upgraded to a straight red card. FIFA are shamelessly rigging this World Cup again for Argentina to win in broad American daylight!!
