Hey, @opensea and @dfinzer - NFT farming meta needs to END urgently. Nobody wants another Blur. You are killing the bags of the last people who stay and believe in this market. We have already experienced on Blur that this incentive system benefits no one but your earnings. And you never need those earnings. Dozens of venture rounds in the past and $500 million a month in earnings. You don't need to kill us to earn more. Here’s the part where we yap about the problem: Just when the ecosystem is starting to show signs of life, you start the farm system and put us into another bad season. Everyone is talking about the bid incentive but I think the list incentive sucks too. I go into any collection and everyone has listed at the base price to get the most XP, and they are constantly competing to list ahead of each other, driving the prices even lower. Even if I choose to sweep 50, I almost can't change the price, and even if I do, someone else will immediately drop it back down to the same price within minutes. In this situation, we can't talk about a market. Without further ado, both bid incentives and list incentives are the worst thing that can happen to NFTs if both are not set right. And this one doesn't seem to be set right. If you get people to list for a profit instead of farming at a loss, prices will go up and automatically find a balance point when overpriced. We don't need bid incentives anyway, the true believers are always there. Please make NFTs great again.
