Yesterday we attended the PENNA awards where we were shortlisted as finalists for the STRIVE programme on stroke. The programme is a Therapy guided but volunteer led activity group tailored to our stroke patients to improve their activity, relieve boredom and experience #PENNA24

@AndyBurnhamGM @sasbanerjee When we tell them no solutions offered as its underfunded social care driving the issue, oh bored of that one lets now focus in acute delays because we can bash them. All they end up doing is asking why but no solutions complete the returns just to state the obvious 🤯🤯🤯

@AndyBurnhamGM @sasbanerjee So putting it out there that whilst im a manager per se i am also a nurse and i spend my day trying to fix stuff that has been put in place to deliver targets and feed the beast with evidence that they think will help but never does- eg asked weekly to identify discharge delays

@DrPeterWeeks1 We have this all the time for requests outside our usual localities, essex ise a different form than bhr yet the info is the same but they will mot accept drives me crazy and wastes time an energy for clinical teams especially when they update it without telling us 🤯
