Yeah, I voted for Trump but I never thought he’d be so foolish to actually move forward with 25% tariffs given the well-documented history of how the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 triggered the onset of the Great Depression as global trade flows dried up.

@robertliefeld you’ve read why there’s a delay. I had the season locked in animatics in Feb 2024. After my departure, the usual execs came in and tore it to pieces for being “too complicated and ambitious” and wanting something more kid-friendly.
They are STILL rewriting Season 2 right now while barely getting through Season 3

The United States has confirmed that it intends to impose 25% tariffs on most Canadian goods, with 10% tariffs on energy, starting February 4.
I’ve met with the Premiers and our Cabinet today, and I’ll be speaking with President Sheinbaum of Mexico shortly.
We did not want this, but Canada is prepared. I’ll be addressing Canadians later this evening.
