I live in a Labour run Council. @BasildonCouncil and they’ve not increased Council Tax this year. Our street lights have stayed on. Our bin collection has gone back to weekly. And I’m going to do my best to see Labour succeed on May 7th.

Quite apart from what could be clear bias - Vicky Young is a classic example of promoting news reporters to " presenters" but lacking the appropriate skill set. Seems to be common practice & requires quite different skills such as adjudication.

Moments like this tells you about leadership. The Tories and Reform would have rushed us into the conflict in the Middle East without thinking through the consequences it would have for British people. My Labour government will always make decisions in the national interest.

@Councillorsuzie Yep - four ambulances with them now are on loan. We’re funding permanent replacements, too. That means that the money being donated will deliver over and above what they had before the attack: stronger, not weaker. Hate can’t win.

I have huge respect for Angela Raynor & her achievements. But what on earth is she playing at ? At this time of crisis ? Or is her "leadership" bid a media confected rumour driven by headline chasers.
