@dickiewhite Yeah it is potentially one of the stranger interpretations I’ve seen though, still think it was a don’t make the ref look bad scenario. Especially if he already overturned a different official, same call overturned twice looks daft.

@kbentos To be fair, the lino flagged for offside then it was overturned. The actual problem atm is that too many laws can be interpreted in different ways so for VAR to be consistent the IFAB need to get rid of the ambiguity.

Complete lack of self awareness from City fans; they get upset over one offside decision that didn’t go their way but seem to forget that they’ve been financially doping for over a decade.

@kbentos @floydy1986 @FootballManager Same problem as United until EtH took over, no actual thought about balance. End up with a squad full of left sided attackers, no centre forwards or right wingers. Or in United’s case loads of attacking midfielders and no defensive ones!
