Our new paper is now published! doi.org/10.1029/2025GL… We modeled an M 7.1 earthquake in Hyuganada Sea, Japan, on 8 August 2024 by a joint inversion of offshore tsunami and onshore geodetic data, and we discussed the interplate seismic coupling in this region.

Our new paper is now out in GRL. We estimated the source kinematics of a tsunami event around Japan in October 2023. Its tsunami source was identified as multiple seafloor uplifts within a few hours, related to the volcanic unrest of a submarine caldera. doi.org/10.1029/2024GL…
