#Chargers on the clock at No. 202. They are then up again at No. 204.
English

@LightzOut83 Never said I accept it, have said multiple times I wanted to be proven wrong and they draft a guard. I just knew it was coming because of common sense
English

@kcaj_backwards If they drafted him to be a back up center that high in the draft as you stated, that would be an absolute disappointment considering how bad they need a starting guard. The team not valuing guard and you being acceptable to that makes you the idiot.
English

I don't understand this fucking pick lol. We already have a center, we needed a guard. What's the plan here? He wasn't even a great center smh.
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate
The #Chargers are taking Florida C Jake Slaughter at No. 63. The top center on most boards, Slaughter was First Team All-SEC in 2025.
English

@RaiderAntonioJ @ChargersWin2026 Shouldn’t talk about your franchise like that lil bro
English

@ChargersWin2026 Do they have any In loserville San Diego. Chokers always gonn choke and Padres still a pack of ass. Loser ass city with nothing to show for it over a century
English

We can make playoffs too and just choke like 27-0 against the Jags, losing to a Texans team with no Dell or Diggs and throwing 4 interception and the only scoring 3 points against New England. Good job what did that get you but late draft picks ??? Let me know

@RaiderAntonioJ Get in the playoffs again … wait…. Nm sorry
English

#Chargers select Memphis OT Travis Burke at No. 117 overall.
English

@StevenIHaglund If you take your head out of your own ass and listen to the team and their value on guards along with the moves they’ve made you would’ve known this was a high chance. Maybe don’t be a cuck chair GM and just be a fan?
English

It’s no secret I’ve been very frustrated by the Chargers offseason process at guard this year. Which is still justified imo, but I also shouldn’t have projected some of that onto Jake Slaughter as a player like I did last night. It was unfair to him and disrespectful of the draft evaluation process. So for that I do apologize. Will be better going forward!
English

@HananDery If they don’t trade up and they take a safety in the 4th or 5th round, I think Jefferson gets cut
English

There is no room for 7 more players on the roster. So I guess Hortiz will trade two 6th round picks to get late round 5. He is the goat of the 5th round.
And even then, I guess we will also be drafting a PS player in the 6th round.
My favorites for tomorrow:
Deion Burks (WR)
Abney (CB)
Farmer (OG)
DT (3Tech): Halton, Proctor, Gill-Howard
DT (run wall): Darrell Jackson Jr., Keenan
TE: Koziol (Gadsden backup)
English

@HananDery Why so early though? If he’s slid this far there’s a chance he might slide more
English

@tylerjschoon Do you remember the drop off from Linsley to Will Clapp? Well if something happens this elimates that drop off. A quality center who could start day 1 if needed. Maybe just been happy the drafted an IOL? They’ve made their stance on OGs very clear with who they signed
English

@CavScoutMBA @KrispyBoltz Crazy people still complain about a center who could start day 1 if needed… but it’s not the flashy name people wanted so it doesn’t matter 🤣 people must’ve forgot the drop off from Linsley to Will Clapp
English

@KrispyBoltz He’s smart AND will pancake your ass. Deadly combo!
English

@herbxharb Why pick McCoy now if he’s fallen this far? He might be there in the 200s
English

@brownthewhite @LightzOut83 Pregnon went from “top 25” pick to pick 88. Maybe you arm chair GMs don’t know shit and every year you think you know everything 🤣 bitch and moan all you want but the team has made their opinions on guard VERY clear
English

@LightzOut83 Biggest reach of the draft we coulda got him in the forth. Shit we coulda traded 63 and got gennings dunker at 86. You know a fucking guard. Ffs this team never fails to reach every fuckin year on someone.
English

@RichMiron @alexinsdorf99 And I agree the Day 3 picks are going to be hard to hit, but the team needs depth. Perryman, James and Mack aren’t drinking from a fountain of youth. Plus it’s a new scheme on both sides, they’ll need guys to fit the new molds
English

@kcaj_backwards @alexinsdorf99 So you’re saying they have or have not filled their holes?
I guess we’ll see, but in the NIL era and in this particularly weak draft class, Day 3 picks are even less likely to hit.
English

@RichMiron @alexinsdorf99 If they wanted to fill the holes at OG, they wouldn’t have resigned Penning and Pipkins then brought in Strange. I would love new OGs but I’ve also listen to the staff state their value on OGs. They’re content with what they have weather we like it or not
English

@RichMiron @alexinsdorf99 The coaches/staff has literally said they do not value OGs. Those “giant holes” are not viable options, but if you have paid an ounce of attention, you will know that’s probably what we’re gonna get
English

@alexinsdorf99 This draft is light on talent. It’s the wrong year to be loading up on Day 3 picks when you have two giant holes on the OL and there were two solid OGs available. Would’ve preferred a 27 pick in a trade down.
English

@BB_Chargers People are mad we upgraded at center and still bitch and moan 😭 you sad fucks lol
English

Well, if it doesn't work out, there's no room for imagination. Hortiz is staking his claim.
Hopefully it works.
Alex Insdorf@alexinsdorf99
Chargers G/C Jake Slaughter was Joe Hortiz’s “blue star” player of this draft, his favorite scouted player of the class.
English

@RyanDePaul Or maybe, just maybe, he’s not a “first round prospect”. It was mocked he might not make it to 22 and he slid 66 spots down from that 😭
English

Good for the Jaguars.
Emmanuel Pregnon sliding down to 88 is such great draft value.
Jordan Schultz@Schultz_Report
No. 88 pick is in: #Jags have selected Oregon G Emmanuel Pregnon, per sources.
