you are NOT anorexic just cuz you skipped a meal, tried to starve yourself once or you “want to be”. anorexia is not a diet, a goal, a label or something you choose. it’s not a trend or a weight loss method, it’s a mental illness with the highest mortality rate that ruins lives.

Hot take: self diagnosed people are valid IF they've done years of countless research, fit the symptoms, consulted a psychiatrist psychologist or therapist, and done correct research. It is NOT valid to relate to one tiktok.

@kcalsforatz oh fr, i was under camhs from like age 12-18 and i was told i showed traits of a cluster b personality disorder but they didn’t want to diagnose until i was older (even then, at 20 the cmht were reluctant)

my bpd symptoms started getting bad when i was 12, i had a doctor said i COULD have bpd (i think) but obviously, i wasn’t diagnosed until i was 18 even tho i had showed symptoms since i was even like 9ish probably. GOOD professionals won’t diagnose until atleast 17
