this guy's friend got hired at Anthropic 3 weeks ago.
nobody on his team has hand written code in months.
they run multiple agents in parallel and act more like managers than engineers.
his friend said if you're just watching an agent code, you're already behind
that idle time should be spent spinning up another agent and directing it somewhere else.
the point is that the new method isn't "use AI to code faster."
it's "you are the product manager, the agents are your engineers, and your job is to keep all of them running at all times"

@successfulmen_t @om_patel5 There are no best practices when agents code. When we used to code by hand, we sometimes dumb down the code to make it human readable. It's a tradeoff. But the agents write most efficient code which also means, it takes more than few seconds to understand what it wrote.

That’s fucking stupid and no way it’s true. I’m a Sr. Engineer at Amazon. It’s my job to look at consultant and Jr. engineers AI code and make sure it’s good. I can tell you right now that every other PR I have to block “yellow” and “red” code because of missed best practice or baked in tech debt.

this is one of the primary reasons I largely quit talking about theatre specs or formats which I used to do a lot back in the day. I thought I was being informative, but right now its completely saturated. Every third person is speaking about it and mostly its directly influencing the viewer experience and they are getting confused with all these information...like the tweet Im quoting carries a tone of disappointment…the OP will never like the film if they watch it with the mentality that it should be seen only in a particular theatre. THATS TOTALLY WRONG.
These are just formats and aspect ratios..no one can decide a films fate based on these. A film cannot become good or great just because of these elements.
Why is it a big problem????
If audiences start watching films only in a particular format it sends a signal to filmmakers to make films only for those formats…thats bad. It becomes problematic for filmmakers who dont want to make big spectacles. The diversity in films and audience taste will get diluted.
Andd frankly speaking films these days are after all a luxury corporate affairs. They will go to any extent to monopolise a particular pattern of films if its minting money big timee
hdr, dc, imax all these should come secondary. Your intent to watch a film…wherever you can should be primary.

Watch it as soon as possible to avoid spoilers, the last twist was completely unexpected 😂
If movies like this come out, audiences would even be ready to spend 1k for a ticket. It’s a 4-hour film, but it feels like just 2 hours and 20 minutes.The setups and payoffs in the film are absolutely next level.
This movie won’t stop until it beats Dangal, that’s for sure.
