Today, I did my first full inspection of our bee hives since last November. Given the lack of honey stores last autumn, and that I’ve had to feed them throughout the winter, I’ve been dreading what I’d find. Amazingly, all the colonies were not only alive and well, but packed with bees, lots of brood, plenty of pollen and looking healthy. I’m relieved and looking forward to a busy year! 🐝
