Killers of the Flower Moon, The Brutalist, and now One Battle After Another prove that there are still perennial classics to be made in this decade. Each one of these restored my faith in cinema in different ways. It's SO important we see these kinds of movies in theaters. 🔥🎥

Absolutely true. Some of the post-premiere writing appears to be solely crafted to appear in the trailer pull-quotes.

Theres a really loving quote spoken by Ralph Fiennes in #28YearsLater thats probably the best quote in movies ive heard since a while back. And in context of the scene that follows, at the hands of a less experienced (filmmaker) it could easily elicit laughter, but Boyle made it one of the best cinematic moments in recent years about confronting death & finding peace within it. This is the kind of moments that reminds me why we love & breathe movies.
