Anthony Edwards missed a midrange shot and his coach told him to pass the ball. This is what he does the very next possession:

If a man looks at a woman and says, "I expect you to cook all my meals, clean my house, and cater to my every need while I keep all my money to myself," society rightfully calls him a toxic manipulator and tells the woman to run. But if a woman looks at a man and says, "I expect you to pay my rent, fund my lifestyle, buy my bags, and take care of my needs while my money stays my money," society calls her a "Queen" who refuses to settle. We have weaponized the word "standards" to justify legally robbing men blind. Look at the most popular advice given to young women today. It is entirely focused on extraction. We teach women to secure the bag, to test a man's love by how much he is willing to spend, and to leave him the second he faces financial ruin. We demand that a man bleeds himself dry to prove his loyalty, while the woman is encouraged to build a secret safety net with her own income just in case she wants to leave him. He is funding his own replacement, and society claps for it.

He’s 30 years old and childless. None of his friends have kids either. He says this phenomenon is happening worldwide and shares his theory why.

yeah i don’t buy madden no more , NCAA real close to being on my 💩 list too!

There are parts of Madden 26 I DO like.. But far too often, nonsense like this takes me out of the game. Playing against the CPU in franchise is too repetitive. Every QB plays exactly the same. When I play PS2 Madden, Peyton is calling 5 pre-snap audibles. Mike Vick takes off and runs. QBs don't complete 85% of their passes regardless of coverage... After streaming a lot of 2K5, it's hard not to feel that Madden 26 is scripted to its core. Everything feels predetermined. I don't see organic play development, nor do I see individual players making decisions during a play. Everything is scripted. Right here, the game decided I was going to get sacked. Nothing I could do about it. This isn't a rare, cherry-picked example either. Nonsense like this happens on every play, somewhere on the field. It's easy to get excited by improved player movement, updated likenesses and rosters, playbooks, presentation, etc, but in the end, the same legacy issues prevail. With a yearly release cycle, and stubborn ideology at the top of EA, it's very difficult to have faith in the game genuinely taking that next step. It's harder to notice if you're younger, or don't play Madden that often. That's how EA wins... time moves forward and those who played better games in the past or notice the yearly repetition are aged out and replaced by an exponential amount of kids who care mostly about graphics and MUT. So why should EA bother? They make bank regardless. And this is the frustration so many of us football fans feel when we just want a respectable video game to play, like we once did when competition was alive in this genre.
