From this morning's Uvalde Leader-News, @Raiders owner Mark Davis is making a $1 million donation to the Uvalde school district to fortify its campuses. Davis' donation came after talks with ex-Raider All-Pro S Vann McElroy.
McElroy grew up in Uvalde, and lives there now.

An AP came down our hall for possibly the first time this semester and tried to lecture teachers about student tardies…in May…

We talk a lot about what schools and educators need to do to increase achievement, but very little about what students, families, the community, and society needs to do.
