@FumbleBeeFae @amwinsor1 @Van_Spidergirl Hi all, sorry I'm a bit late to the conversation! The challenge does seem to be finding a neuron- or glia-specific, nuclear antibody. We tried the antibody Repo, which nicely labels most D. melanogaster glial cells, but could not get it to work in bees.

@amwinsor1 @Van_Spidergirl @keating_godfrey Yes! That’s what I’m doing at the moment but with native Aussie bees. We’ll hopefully find an antigen that’ll work for my bees and @Van_Spidergirl’s spiders.
