I’m proud to help launch "Honest Conversations About Psychiatric Medications" offering a monthly virtual support group for Connecticut communities including patients and caregivers to explore the meaning of medications in their lives. The group offers a space to share experiences, ask questions, and have open and honest conversations about benefits, harms, side effects, uncertainty, and the complex decisions people may face. It is not a source of medical advice or a substitute for care, but a place for reflection, connection, and mutual support. This matters deeply to me because we need spaces that bridge lived experience and clinical expertise. Another reflection on the whole "bad news for medical LLMs" take, which happens whenever a study suggests or shows limitations of LLMs in clinical reasoning -- no serious researcher that I know *actually* expects these models to be "doctor replacements", at least anytime soon.
