Told my 4.5 yo autistic son to put on his Mario bibs for a rad surprise. This kid. He’s played every single Mario game ever made. Owns every stuffy, and 100 mini figs. His expression hasn’t changed since the #MarioBrosMovie opening credits. Happiest nerd mom ever tonight.

It is a universal truth that children will grow out of weather appropriate clothing exactly two months before the season ends, forcing you to size up to clothes that won’t fit next year, either.

My 12 yo daughter is directing a play at my 10 yo disabled son’s school. She’s bringing friends to integrate her worlds. Should I start bawling now or wait until the production? 😭 I have awesome kids. #inclusion

Today, I drove my disabled son 2 hours to an unsuccessful feeding therapy apt., fielded a medical call where I was scolded & got a negative email about financial assistance. I feel like a failure. Caregivers and the disability community need better support. #DisabilityTwitter
