Every now and then my DM UI makes me feel like nothing is actually working. Missing chats, PIN requests, inconsistent timestamps... Is it just broke over here?

You can now experience the power of codex while the little orange thing keeps you company. Works with your ChatGPT subscription, just as everywhere else. Clearly proof you can just build things. Have fun
Romain Huet@romainhuet

We’ve seen Claude Code users bring in Codex for code review and use GPT-5.4 for more complex tasks, so we thought: why not make that easier? Today we’re open sourcing a plugin for it! You can call Codex from Claude Code with your ChatGPT subscription. We love an open ecosystem!

In lockdown the privileged parents picked up Chromebooks for remote learning and Zoom calls. Suspect we will be talking about agent-assisted learning on-device soon, and Apple are gonna have the clean sweep.

My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

Growth of codex continues to outpace our prediction (maybe we are not super good at that) and we almost ran out of capacity three days in a row. We have ramped up more significantly ahead of next week.

I swear it used to be easier to swipe ‘away’ from any given content.

@JsonBasedman @Shopify Get a few good waterloo interns access to the ground truth payroll historic data and the union contracts and a well funded anthropic account and they can solve this problem with Claude code in a few weekends. You don’t need us.

I’ve been knee-deep in the code fixation of AI for so long I’d never tried the personal assistant angle. Under pressure I decided to give the Codex app gmail access, because I didn’t have time to properly respond to: “Have you sorted everything for ’s ski trip?” I can’t thank Codex enough for getting me out of that jam in a few minutes. Full itinerary, shopping list, timeline. 7 page PDF. 5.4 via osx app guided me through the MCP install and G approval, then gave me the doc. Forgetful families everywhere have a new superpower. Scheduling morning briefings might be a thing in our house soon (we both work from home / self employed).

@nicoramirezdev @TheVolun @ThePrimeagen there are proper ways to use agents that dont require you to just say "fuck the code, do whatever you want" not having ownership of the code you ship is a choice that has nothing to do with agents, and already existed before, see wordpress etc

I’m building a free learning tool for my kids and giving it away to all of their peers in Wales. It’s 100% written by frontier models. I can’t wait to show it off and teach people how I made it happen. There’s no edge or moat. I firmly believe this product won’t need to exist in 6-12 mos based on current curves, but it’s going to be fun.

Much like putting your own time into crafting your agents/skills/claude dot md files… There is a huge return on curating your Twitter feed and making sure you only look at Following->Recent. AI has it’s place. Telling you what to think is not it.
