Word of the Day: "Sachsengänger" (Saxony-travellers) or Polish seasonal workers who helped out during different harvests in Brandenburg and Saxony, and arrived annually by train. Willy Römer took took this photo in 1906 on the corner of Gitschiner Straße and Prinzenstraße in Berlin-#Kreuzberg, right under the Bahnhof Prinzenstraße - in the background you can see the northern entrance/exit to the elevated platforms.
