I consider myself an expert in two fields. Football since I quit coaching and women. So I’ll give my advice to all you young men. Western is the best football on the planet, and when it comes to women, marry way way over your head. I totally recommend it.

Love this message. Hight is great but it wont pre snap determine the right side to throw to, or set your feet in order to make that throw. Film, preparation, and work does that.
Kurt Warner@kurt13warner

I often find it humorous when ppl tell us how much “height” of a QB affects one’s ability to “see” the field!! Bc too often we are asking the WRONG questions on these types of things! Bottom line is, only the QB truly knows how much it affects them & just bc you have no problem physically seeing the defense, it has no bearing on if you can truly “see” (read) the defense! There is also something to what height do you play at - maybe this would be a great NEW weight to MEASURE the height of a QB - some QBs play with more or less knee bend, so a 6’4 QB could play like a 6’2 guy or a 6’0 guy play like a 6’2 based on their stance in the pocket! I was barely over 6’1 1/2 & I rarely (I believe all QBs are shielded at times) had a vision problem when playing in the NFL & I felt I could “see” the defense as well as anyone who ever played! Drew Brees is considerably shorter than me & he could “see” the field as well as anyone who ever played the game! My son @elijah13warner is 6’0 foot and I would put his ability to see the field up against anyone in college football based off watching every one of his snaps and MORE importantly asking him what he saw on each play!! So does height play a role in physically seeing at times - I’m sure it does! Is there a cut off line - maybe, but only shorter QBs could tell you that - bc I’ve seen many guys shorter than me “see” the field really well! And more than anything what I want to know is if a QB can “see” the field - see it physically and more importantly process what they see mentally - and for me it’s pretty easy to tell when watching tape who can “see” it and who can’t! The only question that remains is who can’t see it bc they are blocked physically and who can’t see it bc they are blocked mentally!

@LivCleary Your AD is the biggest loser on the planet. He’s let Tinkle and Bray go as his divert resposibility. Hes ruined Oregon State. Bray and Tinkle cared about that place more than they cared about themselves. Hes the most vile human on the athletic planet. You get what’s coming

Wayne Tinkle was told in late February he wouldn’t return as Oregon State’s head coach. He still chose to finish the season with his team. After the Beavers’ WCC semifinal loss to Gonzaga, he reflected on that decision and the way his players responded: #GoBeavs | #WCCHoops

No one expected a thing from the UM Western Lady Bulldogs to start this season. Those women and their coaches gave everyone a preview of what they are made of and who they are. Thanks for the year, we are all proud. I cannot wait to see what you all turn this into.

@teamvsn You guys kill it. There are not a lot of us that care about the NAIA more than NCAA. Thanks for the awesome coverage even if I did say “piss off” one time. Watch out for the Dawgs and the Frontier next year

You go through life. You meet and get to know some great people along the way. Joe Morstein was the nicest man I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was the most generous person. That whole family cares so much. He was the best
