Haematologist yesterday bloods best they’ve been for years ‘you almost have a functioning immune system’ (obviously they drift up and down but still 🎉).

It has been announced today by @ScotGov and @COSLA, that Ally Boyle has been appointed the new Chair of the Public Health Scotland Board.
The appointment will be for four years, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2029.

Patients attending hospital r often asked if they would like 2 take part in a clinical trial.Apart from conversations with doctor/nurse-receiving info about a specific clinical trial,do U think there is enough information available in the NHS that prepares U 4 these conversations

Just had my bloods done for next appointment and it hit me that I’ve been living with #BloodCancer for one third of my life.😞
I don’t remember what it is like to live without pain, fatigue or fear. But I am still here and grateful for that and all that cancer has taught me ❤️

30 years ago today I stepped through the door @DerbyshireFRS and joined WR66. What a journey it’s been so far. The best job, working with fantastic people across the Service (past and present), our partners and our communities. Couldn’t have done it without all your support 🚒🙏
