No one should be surprised but what he left out is that this turbine costs an estimated $50-80 million to build and install. It only produces power 35-45% of the time because wind is intermittent. Its output degrades 12-16% over its 20-25 year lifespan. It requires hundreds of tons of steel, concrete, fiberglass, and rare earth minerals mined largely in China (his favorite country). The other 55-65% of the time you need backup power, which comes from natural gas. And it exists only because of massive government subsidies. A natural gas plant of the same 26MW capacity costs $26-39 million, produces more than double the effective output, runs on demand 24 hours a day regardless of weather, and lasts 30-40 years. Half the price. Double the output. No weather dependency. No subsidies required. But this was never about the environment. If it were, you would care that rare earth mining for wind turbines devastates landscapes across China and Africa, that thousands of birds and bats are killed annually by turbine blades, that the blades themselves are non-recyclable fiberglass rotting in landfills, and that natural gas produces half the emissions of coal with none of these problems. You ignore all of this because environmentalism was never your goal. It is your vehicle. The destination is what it has always been: government control of energy production, which means government control of the economy, which is socialism. Rand identified this decades ago. The green movement is not a scientific movement. It is a political one, and its target is not pollution. It is capitalism.
BladeoftheSun@BladeoftheS

The World's largest Wind Turbine 26MW. In its lifetime it will produce the same energy as burning 750,000 tons of coal. That's 44,118 truck loads. And that's just 1 Wind Turbine.

Australia’s divergence commenced 4 years ago correlated with the boom in federal government recurrent expenditures. An intentional decision to increase the taxation of the productive to fund the less productive. The ambition of a better society is not in question. The question was always what can we afford? We now have the answer. Less than what we have done. This misjudgement by our bureaucratic and political leadership is costly in more than $ terms. Those costs will only grow from here. A pivot is required. This is unsustainable and hence, by definition, a correction will come. The question becomes: will we make the necessary adjustments in a proactive and deliberate fashion, or will adjustment be forced upon us through a disruptive economic process. Much is at stake. Good policy choices and genuine leadership are of more value than ever right now.

The NDIS, Superannuation and the CFMEU are the 3 biggest scams in Australia’s history. All of them created by the ALP and designed purely to steal the wealth from hard working Australians. The theft of our tax dollars is so great they have literally bankrupt the country. It’s about time this extortion racket comes to a stop!

After an afternoon of arguing with socialists, here it is... These people are impossibly and dangerously stupid. They are making up policies as they go which will cause nothing but economic destruction. It is evident when arguing with them they have little to no understanding of the reality of economics and their ideas come from envy. They are predators. But... this was caused by the state itself: 1. Allowing leftism to take over the institutions 2. Buidling an education system with baked in Marxism 3. Failing to control inflation We are in very dangerous times.

When the government 'taxes the old' - they don't give it 'to the young'. They give it TO THEMSELVES. They are taking young people's future inheritance and redistributing it to political mates.

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.

The Greens will raise the minimum wage to £15 for all workers 💪

So the Bondi Royal Commission found that it would have been impossible for Australian intelligence and security agencies to detect and stop the Bondi terrorists Sajid and Naveed Akram before they carried out the Bondi Massacre. Sounds like a perfect argument for deportations then. If you can’t detect and halt the radicalisation process, a lot of people need to leave our country. Including Ahmed.

Australian Authorities Raided a Facility and Destroyed an Entire Stockpile of Hydroxychloroquine. Here's Why. It wasn't expired. It wasn't contaminated. It was confiscated and destroyed because it was being used to treat COVID patients early — and that was a threat to the vaccine program. A government that will physically seize and destroy medicine to prevent its citizens from using it is not a public health authority. It's a compliance enforcement operation. 1 week ago, Abbie and I delivered a letter to @Keir_Starmer and @ShabanaMahmood A letter asking for a meeting with representatives of British Mothers @pinkladies_uk and victims of sexual assault at the hands of illegal migrant men. THIS GOVERNMENT has allowed over 70,000 undocumented migrant men into our country in under 2 years. We want to discuss what they are planning to do about the RAPE EPIDEMIC that’s sweeping the UK. So far.. nothing.. not even an acknowledgement. More proof that the safety of Women and Girls doesn’t matter in the slightest to this government @UKLabour DISGRACE !!

Belgium Police basically surround me while I’m live streaming… and then this happened, I was in Belgium filming the migrant situation when multiple Belgian police vans and officers suddenly approached me on the street. They admitted they had been watching my livestream the entire time. They took me back to my hotel, checked my ID, and searched the place. My trip to Belgium came to a very abrupt end. Migrant trafficking gangs are now openly threatening to shoot me in the head. On top of that, the French authorities have already banned me and now it looks like the Belgian police are monitoring me too. This is a lot bigger than any of us realise. They really don’t want the truth coming out about what’s happening on the ground. #Belgium #MigrantCrisis #PoliceSurveillance #ExposeTheTruth #OperationOverlord

I know why the Liberals and Nationals are getting so nasty - and they really are. Behind the scenes, the party is turning vile. If you look at all these One Nation branch meetings and pub gatherings - there are LOADS OF YOUNG PEOPLE. I've been to a lot of Coalition 'conservative' events in my time. I'm usually the youngest in the room by 20 years. At a One Nation event - I'm an oldie! This is incredibly important for a thriving, growing political movement.

Labour's Renters Rights Act championed by Angela Rayner has now kicked in, triggering a mass exodus of landlords who are selling up in droves and booting tenants out before the new rules fully bite, almost half of more than 1,000 landlords surveyed said they will stop renting entirely once the legislation takes full effect, the brainchild of Deputy PM Rayner scraps no-fault evictions, limits rent rises to once a year and forces landlords to accept benefit tenants or risk prosecution, this has sparked a surge in evictions with tenants given notice so properties can be sold off, middle-income landlords now face bankruptcy risks from longer arrears periods while the rental market shrinks fast, critics say Rayner’s heavy-handed reforms are making the housing crisis far worse by driving supply down and rents up, ordinary families are left scrambling for fewer homes as the very people who provide rentals are chased out, Another far left failure

Walking the streets of Rye with Pauline Hanson… I saw something that would have sounded crazy just a few years ago. People were proudly stopping to say on camera they support One Nation. You can feel the shift happening in real time. Something BIG is building in Victoria. Watch what went down 👇 youtu.be/iVCUIi07DqQ?si…

The Victorian Electoral Commission have contacted me to make legal threats concerning my public commentary on the @LiberalVictoria campaign material which was in my opinion deceptive and designed to be confused with @PaulineHansonOz and the @OneNationAus Party. The VEC are demanding I take that material down because I'm not willing to dox myself by publishing my home address for all the world to see, I instead published my suburb, and as a public figure I can be contacted a bunch of different ways... an exact street address would make absolutely NO difference to anyone... except to expose me to stalking, harassment, or targeted violence. A few things: 1. the Liberal Party were given the VEC's A-OK to use One Nation colours and produce a piece of campaign material that was designed and intended to not appear to be a piece of Liberal Party campaign material. Literally the ONLY thing linking this material to the Liberal Party is the Authorisation statement, and you'd have to use google to figure out that it was the Liberals because a name and address doesn't tell you a damn thing about a damn thing. Apparently that's ok. 2. I produced a video exposing their dirty tricks, and I complied as fully with the law as I could without putting my personal safety, and that of my family, at risk, but now I'm the one on the receiving end of legal threats. What this shows is twofold: 1. Current Victorian electoral law is no longer fit for purpose in an age of social media where we're ALL commentating all the time and the line between private and professional commentary is all but non-existent. 2. The Victorian Electoral Commission is ok with deceptive practices as long as they tick the right boxes, but not ok with EXPOSING deceptive practices because the box is only 90% ticked. This is literally government logic in a nutshell. You can get away with anything if you keep the bureaucrats happy... 3. How is this not a suppression of the implied right to political communication for anyone who does not have a 3rd party address to list on anything political that they post? (ie, 90% of the population) It disenfranchises anyone without a non-residential address from commenting on politics right at the moment in time when it matters most... an election. I don't believe any electoral laws anywhere in Australia were written at a time when it was possible for literally anyone to reach literally everyone from the comfort of their lounge room, and the laws need to be updated to reflect this new reality. Do the VEC really believe it's not clear who is responsible for the material? The purpose of authorisations is to remove ambiguity and ensure integrity in elections... do they really think it's ambiguous in my case? Or is the truth really that the Victorian Liberal Party stumbled across it and complained because THEY were trying to get away with being deceptive and I was exposing them? The upshot? The VEC are now doing more to protect deceptive practices than they are to expose them. Classic government. Annoyingly the VEC didn't even provide links to the videos across all the platforms, now I have to waste my time finding them and either removing or making them private till after the Nepean election just to keep a bureaucrat happy. I would absolutely LOVE to give the VEC a proper hard time over this, if nothing else to get them to pull their fingers out and make recommendations to parliament to update the laws so they catch up with the 21st century. Any legal eagles ready or able to give me some thoughts? I note, for example, that they've failed to provide a reference number on the document, something which I suspect puts them in breach of their own internal rules and might be something I could have some fun with... Ideas welcome.
