I’ve worked in a school kitchen, and when my own kids were still at school. It’s the budget, meaning poor quality ingredients. Chicken pieces in bags from Thailand, tasteless grated package cheese, frozen prepared veg. This isn’t going to solve anything except limit choice.

@anon_opin Sports are not really taught at state schools. A few lads who live locally have been taken on over the years at pro football clubs but it was youth football clubs that got them playing, they barely played at school

Great Britain would get far more medals in the Winter Olympics if these sports were promoted and taught at all state schools instead of just a bunch of rich kids who's parents can afford holidays in Verbier during the February half term.
