@DavidNautilus1 Very proud to work in a school where the SLT team check-in regularly on each other, including checking in on the head. Wouldn't have it any other way.

The assumption can be that the headteacher is always ok.
That they’re strong, upbeat and well. Requiring little care from others.
And yet a good headteacher spends so much time considering the welfare of others. Giving recognition and thanking staff.
Worth knocking on the office door, popping your head in and asking if they’re alright.
You may think that this happens quite a bit.
But it doesn’t.
And it can mean such a lot.

So annoying when the blokes arguing outside your house when your daughter is trying to get to sleep don't have the decency to argue louder so you can properly hear what they're saying! #arguelouder #villagelife

Would love to know who comes up with the route for secondary pupils to walk to school. Just tried it out and it is an unlit single file footpath next to a wood! May be the shortest route on the map but not acceptable for an 11 year old. #transportappeals

Great things about teaching - when current pupils wave excitedly at me from a bus, and parents of ex-pupils come over to say hi. Not so great - when I find out the ex-pupil I taught in yr 2 is now 17, even though I'm sure I only taught them a couple of years ago! #halftermteacher

A joint @guardian and @politicshome story today reveals the desperate situation in CAMHS. 250,000 children turned away from mental health treatment.
It's why Labour would guarantee treatment within a month and put a specialist in every school.
