This was resolved via REINDEX TABLE my_table but I have no idea what cause the issue.

Summary: Postgres 14.7 on macOS. Just regular development environment use. I have a primary key for a table that is missing rows. Fortunately, this was not production but it was very frustrating.

For more than a decade, I was surrounded by MySQL production databases. I saw MySQL at its worst and, every time, there was a PostgreSQL fan telling me about greener grass. Well, I've been standing in this field for only a few months and it's not very green.

Does anyone have experience with down-leveling themselves in a tech role? Let's say your are a Distinguished Engineer, a Principal Engineer, or a VP and you are willing to forfeit salary for a more enjoyable and sustainable role. Does this work or is trying to make fetch happen?

I've become such a big fan of @arcinternet and it has been so hard to switch back to Chrome this week due to a rendering bug where parts of pages do not render at all. Since it's closed source and the bug isn't present in Chrome, I can't really investigate myself.

@peterflur @ATT She's one of those rare people who doesn't want internet, doesn't need tv, and isn't interested in a cell phone. These are customers that AT&T just don't care about.

It's really sad that the hardest part of moving your 95 year old grandmother to assisted living is dealing with the incompetence of @ATT. Two weeks to try to move her number and they've now assigned her a random number and disconnected her original number.

Her biggest fear was that people would break into her house and her security system is currently inoperable because AT&T keeps telling us they are doing one thing before doing something entirely different.

Buyer beware: I traveled a good bit in July and decided to purchase season 1 of Justified City Primeval on @PrimeVideo so I could download episodes. Purchasing season 1 should have given me access to episodes as they were released, but surprise, it does not.
