@Her_Nonymous_D My teenage daughter was getting harassed by a middle aged man on a bike path and asked an older woman to please stay with her until the creep left. The woman refused saying you shouldn’t be out here alone . My daughter was in tears when she got home.

I was at a food festival last summer when a woman I had never met walked straight up to me and said: “Hey, can I hang with you for a second?” Her voice was calm, but her eyes were not. Without even thinking, I smiled and replied, “Girl, where have you been? I haven’t seen you in forever.” She immediately stepped beside me. A few seconds later I noticed why. There was a man lingering nearby, watching her. Every time she moved, he seemed to end up in the same place. She quietly told me she’d already tried walking away twice and he kept finding reasons to start another conversation. So we kept chatting and slowly worked our way toward a larger group of people.
