She’s gone. Relieved for the end of this agony. But much more heartbreak to come I’m sure.

My grandmother has been unconscious and without medical intervention for 5 days now. She has lost 60kg whilst her children and loving husband sit by her side waiting. There is no dignity in this. It's just cruel. Every second of this is trauma.

@JaclynMcCosker I’m so sorry to hear that Jaclyn. It’s such an awful thing, and the way we’re managing it is completely broken.

A lifelong family friend who’d been managing his cancer died of COVID last night. This disease is horrific. The world just doesn’t feel big enough to hold all of this grief. We need an immediate ceasefire and a rapid return to COVID precautions.

Results aside, I’ll know we had a volunteer on Gladstone prepolling every hour this week & have vols on 13 booths across the region tomorrow. I’m very proud of the volunteers deciding to stand up when a very strong No campaign in our region has at times made things really ugly.

Woke up to this in Warringah. Fresh dripping paint on our front windows and decorating our neighbours’ bins. Right over the top of our Yes placard.

@KosSamaras I was polled on my opinions about the Voice about 6 months ago, in an online poll that had very detailed questions about my friendships with (dinners shared with, neighbourhood proximity to) First Nations people. I’ve been very curious about the results of it

This theory has been doing the rounds. It's false. There is no data that proves proximity to First Nations people = No or Yes. Just another made up narrative.

Yesterday, I hugged my 7 week old baby girl and told her all about Sophie Trevitt — the incredible things she did, how warm, wise and wonderful she was. The world was better with Sophie in it. I hope her powerful spirit echoes for years & years. news.com.au/national/nsw-a…
