@jeff_elder I have used a wolverine silicon pad glue on if you have 110 volt power 250 watt is a fair amount heat . They do come in many sizes . There is also a few knock off brands . Let glue cure before plugging in (I learned the hard way )

What’s your secret to getting these Kohlers to start when it’s crazy cold? Besides a tarp and a car heater, I use a magnetic block heater under the battery. The engine block is aluminum so it won’t stick there but having a warm battery makes a huge difference.
