I’ll be honest, I was biased against gstack. Watched @atmoio’s video, read the HN thread, nodded along to “it’s just prompts in a trench coat.” And yeah, you could build all of it yourself. Most of us already have some version of it.
But then I actually installed it. And the thing @garrytan got right isn’t the prompts themselves. It’s that he packaged a process. Skills aren’t magic. They’re reinforced best practices that make good habits repeatable across sessions, across projects, across people.
We’re past the point where “is it code or is it prompts” is a useful distinction. A preflight checklist is also just words. Still saves lives.

In regard to the whole debate around "agentic coding" - maybe not the popular thing to say right now, but I have to agree with this one especially:
"The mirror just reflects. Good engineers got better. Careless engineers got more dangerous. Same as every powerful tool before it."

Asimov wrote three rules for robots in 1942: don't hurt people, follow instructions, stay alive (but not if it means breaking the first two). Simple, hierarchical, and weirdly beautiful. I keep wondering what it would look like if every AI agent actually shipped with these baked in. Not as guidelines. As constraints. 🤔

It finally happened.
My Digital Twin has officially passed the "Wifey Turing Test." I asked my wife if she could tell whether it was actually me in the video, and she couldn't really tell the difference. Finally!
I created this demo video for our internal hackathon last week using my Digital Twin.
The concept: Pick a topic, cast your show, and watch AI avatars argue it out in real-time, complete with a provocateur host, escalating drama, and a thought-provoking final question, all powered by our own LiveAvatar.
Go check out the project, which I built entirely in a single day with @seanlee.

(It’s running on a free micro-instance server, so if it goes down, well... 🤷🏽♂️)

Well, Claude Opus 4.6 was dropped today and it's truly insane. In case you need a quick TL;DR; here you go. Agent Teams is something that I was thinking about building but here you go. It's already here.

Over a year ago, I co-founded The OK Company. Today, our amazing team is releasing OK Play! It's an app that we hope sparks creation, conversation and connection with parents and children through play.
Here's a little walkthrough Elliot and I made :D
