Our final team member to recognize is Senior, AJ McDonald! There are too many accolades for X. @aj_mcdonald22 was recognized this season as a 5A All-State member. She was also named to the 5A State Tournament Team after her 26 points, 7 rebounds performance vs Nettleton. Proud!!

Hope Oden was named 5A West All-Conference, as well as 5A West All-Defense Team. @odenhope1 averaged 10.1 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 2.3 APG, and 2.6 SPG. She did everything for our team! Hope is now ranked 1st in Lady Pointer history with 202 steals! We can't wait for her senior season!

Sophomore @kyewilliford received All-Conference Honorable Mention. Kye battled through adversity with injuries and illness, but continued to play a huge role on our team. Kye led our team in +/- in conference, was 4th on our team in PPG, 2nd in APG, 2nd in BPG, and 3rd in RPG!

Jayden Warden is our first 5A West All-Conference player, coming off an ACL injury her junior season. Jayden was 3rd on our team in scoring, and often defended the best guard. She hit big shots in conference play to help us clinch the 3rd seed in conference. Congratulations, Jay!

@kendallbruff Oh I’m sure that there are calls either way you can make the claim. I didn’t think the game was lost because of the officiating though. Our front court got exposed on both ends of the floor. And our guards had to fight for their lives all night.

How do you play in a tough, physical game like Alabama/Arkansas and have one team who has 4 players foul out, while another team (the home team with Nate Oats as their coach) has 0 players foul out?

@CoachHalbrook I'm not necessarily disagreeing with any of the fouls called on us. We weren't very smart defensively with our hands. However, I did see a few times where hands were on us on drives, or after we had gathered to go score. Specifically Acuff and Wagner.

@kendallbruff Arkansas was wanting to run them off the line which led to a lot more paint touches and downhill drives that our guards had to deal with. Also only playing 7 guys led to us being tired and using our hands a ton on the drives. I’m a hogs fan and didn’t see too much to argue about
