These aren’t great days for expecting people to put their best foot forward. Chronic instability on multiple fronts, seems to me any foot forward is a feat. A broken foot forward is a marvel. It’s all a lot of people can do right now just to stand up. Compassion can save lives.

@JennaWorthen It might be helpful to talk about how and why to earn a good reputation and how the words you use are a big part of the impression they make on people.

Turns out, my kids think it’s ok to say “damn” as long as you don’t add the “it.” 😐🙈 how do you all handle words that aren’t age appropriate? Also: they did not learn this from me. 🙃

My dad passed away today. He was stubborn, kind, unconventional, hard working & the biggest fan of his kids & grandkids. He raised 2 daughters on his own, retired as a probation & parole officer & helped anyone that needed it although he had little. We’ll sure miss him.

Difficult to find sections that aren’t still true. Church leaders, this is to us.
