If you’re lucky enough to have a coach who impacts you in positive ways both on & off the court or field, you better know what a valuable person you have in your life. Those coaches will be a permanent fixture. Through the ups & downs, successes & failures, they’re always there!

Hey, not for nothing, these next six weeks for me are spread-out-the-copy season. And I know these things come in threes. So if you're the next one to make a bad decision to jettison a coaching staff or an entire program, wait a few days.

@jenna_mcmillan8 Sad day for the Cardinals. I don't have a daughter, but if I did, I'd trust those coaches 110 percent, and she would be a better player and a better person in the end. That's really all there is to say.

Staff was actually informed of the dismissal a month ago but essentially asked to play out the string. James said he stayed on for the good of the program and also thought the decision would be rescinded.
