It does actually surprise me how there was relatively limited international coverage of the protests in Taiwan, in spite of this being on a scale being not seen in a decade, and at a time of greater international coverage of Taiwan than ever

Despite the bill passing around 5pm, the demonstrations are expanding as night falls. Shots were taken at 8pm, 7pm and 5pm. The crowd size is still shying away from last Friday night’s.
