RIP and respect to "The Golden Boy" Paul Christy, who passed away on this date in Pro Wrestling History, May 24th, 2021 at the age of 82. HE was a versitile all around worker who worked in most of the major territories and was the first called "World Champion" I ever saw on my local television when he was promoted as such on Phil Golden's All-Star Wrestling. He was close to the Poffo family, so I saw him wrestle in the 1980s for ICW as the successor to Randy Savage's World Title run.

2 years ago, I had 2 players turn down our 13U team to play “national” baseball for more exposure. Exposure to who? No college coach recruits 13-year-olds. Later, one dad told me it was a huge mistake. Nearly $18K gone chasing fake exposure. Parents are sold a dream.

@DDudeski_ Every pro athlete should be able to fight 1 fan in the stands per season with no repercussions. Folks that are 5’0 300 lbs (of fat) will wish harm or death on them & their families when the athlete is 7’ 240 (of muscle) and know the athlete can’t do shit about it

Hot take: Athletes should be able to clap back at fans with no repercussions. I don’t care how much they get paid, sports fans talk reckless knowing athletes aren’t supposed to clap back because they’ll get fined or “exposed”

@ChrisBergstro14 He is also hard to work in since he passed 25 years ago or so. Also his children never got into wrestling.

You know WWE seems to acknowledge In-Laws and non blood relations in reference to the Bloodline, and the Anoia Family, but i never hear Gary Albright mentioned at all, man was a absolute Legend in Japan.... in a different time he would have been a World Champion in the states to. He was married to Afa's daughter Monica.

@RasslinGrenade Up to 1950 or so, St Louis was still a major major US city. They had 2 MLB baseball teams. It was a top 10 city population-wise which is why so many tried to break into the market
