I had a fruitful meeting with Sports Permanent Secretary Peter Tum, where we discussed several key priorities for Kenyan football. Top on the agenda was The Harambee Stars participation in the Mapinduzi Cup and the preparations for the upcoming CHAN competition. I also updated the PS on the progress made in appointing and fortifying the technical bench to ensure we are well-prepared for upcoming international engagements. Harambee Stars requires unequivocal support from across the board if we are to succeed.

This evening, we welcomed CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and his delegation at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ahead of their visit to Kasarani, Nyayo, Ulinzi Sports Complex and Police sacco stadiums in preparation for CHAN. Soon, we shall be able to host the best football extravaganza the continent has ever witnessed.
