I get the feeling that the Dune series might be one of those sets of movies that lives in history as peak cinema. Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Dune. Movies that work across multiple films. I am so here for Dune: Part Three.

@Budget Yeah.. I wish you had that info on the page where you actually choose the vehicle. "Super charger only" or "No at-home charging" It went from being helpful (not having to visit a gas station) to me going AND waiting 20 min for it to charge. And I'm stuck with it for 10 days!

So it turns out @Budget is living up to its name and doesn't supply an at home charging cable on the EV cars it rents out. So instead of charging it overnight at the house, I have to go find a supercharger. What a complete pain in the ass

AMUG international report was really interesting this morning, primarily focusing on the rise of desktop printer farms as an offering. Streamlined management software is going to be a huge driver as these farms become more reliant on off-the-shelf consumer hardware, IMO!

It’s pretty wild to see that 90% of the desktop 3D printing market is dominated by just a few companies!

@stlDenise3D @joeltelling That was a point where people were printing gun parts to hand in to get money. Remember that? I wonder how much that would have twisted the statistics

@joeltelling I'm doing research on the gun bills (story coming out) and they are pulling research from NIH: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10… They found 186 cases w 3D guns seized, but only 8 of those involved the gun being fired. Study was from 2014-22.

@fixumdude The H2D is close! I think we need to add more overhang, tighter tolerances, and even closer spires!

@keridel Wow, I've never seen a printer nail the "CNET" test like that before! I need to try it on the H2D. Printers have now overcome all my tricks! 😄
