my mom the other day was asking me about the status of my citizenship and was all “y cuando te vas hacer más Mexicana?” It meant so much that to me to hear her call me Mexican but also saying I will be even more Mexican once I get my citizenship in a few weeks hehe

every time diaspora discourse hits mexican and mexam twt i just talk to my family who's actually from mx and get reminded that it doesn't even matter offline. i recommend my other mexams and chicanos to do the same bcz trying to disprove ppl on this site gets emotionally taxing

Article 30 of the Mexican Constitution also states that we are considered a Mexican national by birth if you are born outside of Mexico to Mexican parents. Now leave us ALONE!!!!
