@XBrianDennis When I tell folks I've never dipped my toes into the world of dating apps or gone on a speed date with a total stranger, they give me that wide-eyed, 'Really?' look. While I get that it works for some and they've found awesome partners that way, I just can't take such a risk.

Mike honored an invitation to Keje grill to have a drink with Obidi, a lady he met on Tinder. Obidi drank a lot and got drunk. Mike didn’t know her house, and didn’t want to take her to his house, so he took her to a hotel. They slept there. The next morning, Obidi is accusing Mike of rape and accusing Keje drink of poisoning. Mike insists he didn’t touch Obidi as she was intoxicated. Obidi insists she was raped. Mike is fired from his job and the company puts out a statement disavowing him. Obidi apologizes to Mike saying that she didn’t intend for him to lose his job, that her fight is with Keje grills not Mike and says she has asked instablog to take down the posts where she accused Mike of rape. Yet, Obidi has written to Stand to End Rape for financial support which they declined. Obidi wants to set up a go fund me to fund her rape case. I am neither judge or jury, but you can clearly tell that this entire thing has been the machinations of a woman looking to make money so she is contriving situations where she is a victim and should be settled. Issues like this make mockery of real victims of rape and sexual violence. This back and forth has become a circus show that should not be encouraged on social media. All parties involved should go to court and claim damages.
