All talk and No performance, He is just a social media hype. He is BJP's Seeman at best. As a serious political party BJP did the right thing.

Annamalai fandom is becoming a cult,an unsuccessful politician who is hyped beyond reason. TN BJP needs someone who can deliver results. Will take time.

Even now, DJP and EDMK will not accept their defeat was because of lack of charismatic leadership but throw it on VIJAY WAVE!
IMHO, Annamalai Anna, enough is enough.
Either quit BJP and start your own party. Let it take 10 years to build something meaningful.
Or ask for a full operational control if they want you in BJP. Else get to a national role.

He did well considering there is so much sentiment against BJP among common Tamil people as both DMK and ADMK prior to 2017 was against them. Even after ADMK was a reluctant partner. If BJP had given him more time to nurture the constituency he would have won. All parties decide last minute on the candidate for a constituency instead of at least announcing 6 months before so the people can become familiar with the candidate. Unlike ADMK and DMK, BJP lotus symbol by itself is not powerful to win a constituency

I have always held & said Dravidian ideology is dead long ago, & Tamils want an alternative to both DMK & ADMK. Under Annamalai BJP was emerging in 2024 but it again went for short cut in 2026. If this wild card entry happens, it only means that Dravidian ideology is dead.
