FYI people talking about landing big free agents this summer there really isn’t any big name FA. Darche will have to improve via trade. #Isles

@Brandon266946 @GreissEgo @IslesCave My argument is that the same, aging core exists. I’m not totally out on Darche but I’m very underwhelmed with what he’s done so far. Let’s see what the summer brings. The roster has been the issue with this team for years and it still needs major work.

@GreissEgo @kev_jacoby @IslesCave I mean, Darche didn't HAVE to sign Romanov. To me, that's more annoying than any of the trades. I can stomach a 3rd pick moved for a bottom pair stay-at-home D. I can also stomach then Schenn trade. What I can't stomach is 6.25x8 for a bottom pair dman.

Combine that with soucy and Palat, you have 3 moves that made this team worse and contributed to them missing the playoffs. Now that your boy Roy is gone you’ll finally be able to realize that the players suck

@kev_jacoby @IslesCave He's got 6 goals in 17 games as an Islander. Not washed. Also, the cap hit is a non-factor with it rumored to go up another $30 mil over the next 3 years since escrow has been paid off.

LOL. The Detroit Red Wings gave up a goal in the 16.2 seconds of regulation. This is no longer all it would take. They need 1 CBJ loss in regulation or OT to Buffalo, Montreal, Washington or Boston

This season is officially on life support. The #Isles need one of: —Win against Ottawa in regulation Saturday afternoon —Have Ottawa lose one game to either FLA, NJ or TOR. OR —Philadelphia to lose 2 games, one of them in regulation. AND, they need to go 4-0-0 themselves.
