Would you start Ilya Sorokin for both games this weekend against Montreal and Columbus?

@IslesDen Then stop with the panic mode my friend. Rittich will have to play a part here for this to work. For march play rittich saturday and on the 31st in buffalo. Play sorokin the rest. 7 games. Get 8 to 10 points.

@rdel76 I like that idea. It’s such a tough call, I think Patrick Roy being who he is will want his franchise goalie to play in the back to back. The most he lived for as a player you know, I honestly expect Ilya in both

@IslesDen I don't hate it, and i get it, last night Ullmark sat and Reimer was able to get job done. I guess you could give Rittich Chicago on Tuesday and give Ilya nice break...I dont hate that.

@rdel76 I agree it’s not desperate time, but man… I don’t want to down in big games with a Vezina candidate on the bench. I see both sides but that’s where my mind goes, go let one of the best players in the league give you all he’s got

@IslesDen Rittich has very good career numbers vs. the Habs and has played much better the last couple of starts. This is a sprint to the end - with a lot of "must wins" upcoming, you can't risk burning out Ilya...IMO. It feels like things are bad, but far from desperation right now.

@ChnRstrntKng Let Ilya earn that trophy man, this is his best work and I don’t want to go down without our best player in net.

@IslesDen This is the problem with people who think you can build teams with computers. This is not a video game. Because of the olympics the schedule is squeezed. It will hurt the team doing this more than it will help.

@TuckonSports I’m starting Sorokin in both. He’s had as much to do with getting them the opportunity to fight for this spot as anyone and I’m letting him dictate the result. Go earn the Vezina

@IslesDen Ilya has proven to lose a lot of what makes him great when he’s overused. I start him v Columbus & roll with big save Dave v Montreal.
