So, Gills, what to say right now? A few things. We knew it would take a few seasons to right what was inherited and to get our bearings. Injuries also huge issue. Shan and I (and Joe and Gaz and Dobbo and everyone else) still love and support this team and the fanbase. Stick with us. All we can do is survive the battles until we reinforce the foundation. It hurts. But can you imagine, some day, how it will feel when we finish our work? Another thing, while I wholeheartedly support the Gills and English football, I, along with nine other L1 and L2 owners, are taking a stand on the state of the EFL. It loses £500M per season and nearly all its clubs are within 1 month of being Sheffield Wednesday. No business owner on the planet, myself included, would affiliate with that sort of incompetence. @Cricketers1893 @Rusthallred @deanmcbeano @TheGillsFC I disagree, I haven't missed your point at all. He simply wasn't a good enough manager for either us or Barrow. Went back to be Bruce's assistant at Blackpool and is currently out of work. Just because he played at Premier League level doesn't make him a good manager.

He also never really had the chance to bring in his own players, yet he was still achieving more with that squad than MB, JC or GA have managed since.

Neil Harris stabilised @TheGillsFC Stephen Clemence kept the team organised and moving in the right direction. Since the club decided to move on from him there’s been no progression at all. Sometimes patience with a manager is the smarter move. Not sure if GA is the right man
