I’ve been waiting and watching for a storyline like Cayden Boozer. Here we are, Boozer, 18-years-old, hasn’t even Iived life and has to navigate a very tough failure. Other side of the coin— quick search— Boozer did a $750K NIL and that is what we call adult money. College athletes want paid and deserve it but it’s not the media’s job to protect them now. I cringe when I read the praise for Boozer taking questions after the loss. He should, he’s a highly paid athlete.

Beyond the obvious (Slim & Cam)… 1. Pat Ngongba should stay. Easy 15 &10 candidate if so. More to work on. 2. Dame Sarr should stay. He has plenty to work on offensively, which would benefit him on draft boards. 3. Cayden Boozer should stay. Work on that shot.

For young Duke fans, us old Duke fans have been through this. Not the blown leads, but the inability to get over a hump. Coach K lost in the Final 4 in four out of five years before winning it all. Scheyer will get it done. I believe it because I’ve seen it.
