@latsondheimer There are easy solutions- approve MLS Next Fest for the student-athletes or hs programs start their preseason games after the fest. The reality is, players want to play in the Fest that have the chance and players don’t like the outside rule, so why not meet in the middle?

Academy Division was put in place in direct competition to create a second tier like all other leagues are doing to expand the revenue stream. Needless to say, in California I feel like we are throwing the UNO reverse card.
