@lukecooper14 One of my first college basketball games in front of 16,000 people and we got smacked by 40 🤣🤣🤣ahhh the memories.

In 2007 we played Texas Tech in the Great Alaskan Shootout. Was absolutely thrilled that I’d get to shake Bobby Knights hand at the end of the game. Handshake line, I look up, he’s in the tunnel & out of there. Shattered. An absolute character, with an astute basketball mind #RIP

3/3 Basketball has lost its soul in Australia, ppl chase $$$ and recognition, rather than passing on the knowledge of the game to generations that will surpass us! It’s a sad lost reality of community sport!

2/3 Majority of those coaches walked in the gym and an old time hooper or vet would coach kids for $5 or free(cover court hire)they coached for the love of the game. They volunteered their time to these players/coaches who now charge you $$ for a so called profession or business.

1/3-Cannot for the life of me remember my parents paying $50+ for an individual training session….PARENTS-any coach praising their pathway or resume as credentials to coach your kids, didn’t have those same individuals coaching them when they walked in the gym!
