@htlutz Thank you, I found it tricky to find a straightforward end to end tutorial so glad it was helpful!

@LaylaCodesIt SomethingDbContext for me - I prefer as much info as possible from a variable name. If you're working on earlier versions of EF, it could refer to an ObjectContext. ObjectContext is deprecated now but who knows when the next context comes in EF version X!

Do you, as a #dotnet developer, think the DbContext should be called a). SomethingDbContext, or b). SomethingContext The difference being the `Db` bit in the middle.
Irina Dominte (Scurtu)@irina_scurtu

Hey #dotnet community, is there an unwritten rule about how you name the database context? I am biased about this, so I want know what other people are doing and the reason behind it. lt should be MyDbContext, or can it also be MyContext?

If you've hit writer's block or struggling to get back into coding your project, I find going back and commenting/documenting the existing code helps get you back into the zone and provides value #unitytips #unity #unity3d #indiedev #gamedev

Today I shared with my team that after 32 fantastic years (!) I'll be retiring from @Microsoft! What's next? 1) I'm staying on until summer to help with the transition (SO MUCH GOODNESS COMING), then 2) focus on the two kids still at home & the 1 who just started college. :)

@likoress76 Purely my opinion, but every language in my experience has gone through the hype phase. Reality is, whatever language can do the job, does the job. Balance your skillset with what other languages do but there are plenty of django sites as there are nodejs

@keyboardP I'm currently working mainly with Python and Django. but I see there is a lot of hype in the nodejs community. also the pace of improvement in nodejs is much faster that python and django. So I was thinking that the one could give it a try a compare the productivity between them

@likoress76 I would ask what your skillsets are. Play to them, most mainstream languages have what you need. The thing that trips sites up is poor implementation, not the actual language itself. What's your language of choice?

@keyboardP agree, but for general thing like e-commerce with CRUD operation, admin site, validation, for example, what could you choose ?

I've always had so much respect for Microsoft's backward-compatibility efforts. It's nothing short of astonishing. But when you find your own game in their list, it does give you goosebumps :)
