“Young people, you need to bet on yourself. If you think you're that good, you don't need a handout. You just allow your work to speak for itself." Do not ask to be chosen. Work until you cannot be ignored.

Don’t you even think about quitting. Are you facing some adversity? Good. Trust God and keep putting in the work because your breakthrough is right around the corner.

Don’t quit. Without a test there can be no testimony and your testimony will be greater than the storm that tried to break you. Trust God and never give up.

Don’t let recruiting discourage you. It has the ability to get your emotions out of whack, both for players and parents. Don’t expect college coaches to be your friends, because this is not a friendship. This is just a business; some coaches will think you are good, while others won’t. Find the school that suits you, no matter the level.

One of the most fascinating things to me is WHY in life some ppl are given multiple opportunities while others have to fight for everything!! In the football world it’s often based more off: how u look, what school you went to or some mysterious, unproven “potential” we place on some over others that has little to do with actual production! Ironically, I feel like this can often be the case in the real world as well! But one of the coolest things is to prove the world’s theories wrong & show ppl they are looking at the wrong things & missed what was in front of them the whole time! (The only problem is you must be given an opportunity to do this)

A disconnected team gossips, fights for themselves, and falls apart under pressure. A connected team fights for each other, holds each other accountable, trusts, and sticks together. Culture is the advantage.
