Long-term, value is driven by demand, and demand is driven by utility that's superior to the alternatives. There is perhaps nothing with more fundamental utility in this world than money. It is the backbone of all economic activity in this capitalistic world. Eventually, one or very few cryptocurrencies will emerge as a global standard for economic transactions, assuming national governments don't somehow manage to prevent it. The ones that attempt to do so will likely be left behind. I just don't see a future 100 years from now where governments still control money when self-sovereign currencies exist. However, those few cryptocurrencies that actually achieve global adoption MUST be capable of scaling to that level of demand, MUST function properly at that scale, MUST be accessible to the vast majority of the world's population, and MUST have proven the game theory of their operational endgame. So far, Nano is the only one I’ve seen that I believe can meet those requirements. Whether it’s Nano or another cryptocurrency, the world’s largest economies will eventually demand digital money that works at that scale. That demand - paired with a fully distributed fixed supply - will drive value far beyond anything we've seen in today’s speculative crypto casino "market." As of now, Nano appears to be the best candidate for achieving this.
