@Myzidya There was a whole thing with a hacker getting a lot of people. Desi was one of them, they took control of everything he had and deleted his gmail account to significantly slow him down.

@kezcade He must have had multiple accounts breached.. Got a Discord push message from them with an obvious sus link the other night, but Desi's entire Discord server vanished and their username changed by the time I had a chance to look at it. Very concerning

Nintendesi got his account back, all it took was twitch partner Thabeast escalating it high enough until someone could give actual human responses which... you know what, at least he got it back

@TwitchSupport Hey Twitch, one of your partnered streamers (and my close friend) - twitch.tv/Nintendesi - had his account hacked. There is currently a hacker running around your platform disguised as one of your PARTNERED streamers and you can't verify your own PARTNER???

Twitch framed this as a net positive but the reality of a 20% increase like this is that many people (myself included) will just be cancelling some or all of their subs. People are struggling with money, something has to give. This is going to affect smaller streamers the most.

@mysidia YouTube's flexibility in letting creators set their own sub pricing is an amazing thing for streamers and its the biggest thing Ive been begging Twitch to borrow for a long time. I would set my sub prices to $2.99 in a heartbeat

@kezcade I suspect Twitch only forecasts global numbers& figures what helps them more-a <20% drop offset by gains in ad$, even if it hoses some channels. Idk why they can't just let creators set their member tiers like Youtube etc do: some channels get $1 subs, others, $10/month, etc.

@TacosTheCasual Since the entire game takes place across the first 4-ish hours of the original it was just really slow paced and I got bored, but once I accepted it I started appreciating all of the character and area development they did and it clicked for me

I took a Twitch break for a couple weeks and during that time I decided to give FF7 Remake another shot since I quit before after like 8 hours for reasons. I restarted the game and now I'm 20 hours in and holy shit I'm glad I tried it again, it took a bit but this game rules
