@kfairwrites Good movie. They cut out a ton of the science, but that was necessary for the medium. Suffers from a bit of Bathos/Marvel quips, but they kept it serious when it matters. Worth watching for sure even if sci fi is not your thing

13 Going on 30 is a rare movie that hits just as hard (if not harder) when you're 30 as it did when you were 13, and it's because it does one thing very very well: it doesn't belittle teen girls and respects them. Curious to see if the reboot is able to do the same.

13 GOING ON 30 - to this day - still has legs. There’s no way the reboot will ever get a better, more perfect needle drop than Billy Joel’s “Vienna,” used when we see Jenna regretting having sped through her teen years to adulthood.

This crescent-shaped pattern has stood out to me. People told me early on, when I was asking about it, that it’s just the natural pattern in the stone. I respectfully disagree. 🤷♀️
